BOORGENs digital platform "Click to Build" improves new construction by seamlessly integrating planning, approval, financing, and serial production. Clients and service providers can configure buildings themselves. BOORGEN automates the process and standardizes the awarding of contracts to local partner factories. Planning and building becomes easier, more sustainable, faster, cheaper, less risky, and contributes measurably to local value creation.

BreatheAssist from Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg is a novel intensive care ventilator. The measurement and control unit on the patient responds in real time to every breath. For the first time, the system completely compensates for tube resistance and enables “electronic extubation.” Patients breathe naturally, remain conscious, and maintain their respiratory muscles. Benefits include fewer lung injuries, shorter ventilation times, reduced need for sedation, and significant relief for clinical staff.

ENDOLEASE from Würzburg develops an implantable platform technology for precise, localized drug delivery directly into the arterial bloodstream. This technology minimizes systemic side effects and maximizes treatment efficiency through targeted delivery to affected tissues or organs. It has great potential for hard-to-treat diseases in cardiology, oncology, neurology, and transplant medicine.

fiveD from Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg is developing a hyper-realistic radar simulation platform. Thanks to physics-based modeling, radar systems can be developed, optimized, and validated efficiently—from sensor hardware to AI-supported signal processing. Industries such as automotive, aerospace, and automation benefit from faster development cycles, lower costs, and better performance.

Globemee from Nuremberg is a digital relocation platform that prepares international professionals for the German job market using AI-based roadmaps, language training, and visa support. After qualification, Globemee directly connects suitable talent with companies in Germany. A scalable model to address the skilled labor shortage.

LaMa Recycling Technologies from Würzburg is developing a scalable solution to return industrial plastic waste—especially from construction and hygiene industries—into the material cycle. Instead of being incinerated, these high-quality post-industrial residues (PIR) will be reused as raw material for new products. This saves waste and makes thousands of tons of plastic reusable.

nara is an AI-powered employee in first-level IT support that works around the clock via voice, chat, and screen analysis. With its proprietary "Dynamic Solution Synthesis" approach, it detects, resolves, and documents IT issues in real time—even those that have never occurred before. It provides significant relief to IT departments. The GDPR-compliant SaaS platform is scalable, efficient, and easy to integrate.

Pelora from Erlangen is developing a highly precise indoor positioning system that enables real-time localization of Bluetooth-enabled devices such as smartphones, tags, and sensors with 10–50 cm accuracy. The technology supports both app-free and app-based phone tracking. Pelora provides position data for industries like retail, logistics, and manufacturing—critical for location-based services, analytics, or process monitoring and automation.

Rivercyte from Erlangen improves clinical infection diagnostics in newborns by capturing physical properties of blood cells for the first time. Only one drop of blood is needed, and its cells are analyzed through high-throughput microscopy, AI-driven image analysis, and microfluidics. This enables early infection detection, making diagnostics faster, cheaper, and more standardized.

Senior Connect from Upper Franconia precisely matches talents and companies—not only in recruiting, but also in strategic onboarding and offboarding. While companies benefit from immediately deployable senior professionals during onboarding, the platform supports smooth transitions for outgoing experts into new career opportunities. A win-win for employers and employees—fast, efficient, and cross-generational.

Vasc-on-Demand from Würzburg develops artificial blood vessels for more realistic tissue models, improving preclinical trials. Currently, 90% of drug candidates fail in clinical trials—40% due to lack of human efficacy. By providing functional, human-like vascularization in ready-to-use consumables, these hurdles can be overcome. This saves time and costs, reduces animal testing, and accelerates research in pharma, biotech, and academia.
