Strong partners in the region

BayStartUP and the Gründerzentrum Digitalisierung Niederbayern (GZDN) are looking for the top founders from the Lower Bavarian region in the business plan competition Ideenreich. The competition focuses on active regional networking, the training of prospective founders and promotes strong young entrepreneurs from the region.

Network, education and strong ideas

The Business Plan Competition "Ideenreich" is a regional competition of the Bavarian Business Plan Competitions. It is aimed specifically at founders from the Lower Bavarian region, who can develop their business model for a successful market entry with expert support and thus lay the foundation for their company's growth.

The business plan competition Ideenreich is a super platform to sharpen your business plan and to compare yourself with your competition. The jury members have enabled us to establish contact with potential customers and investors. In addition, the competition has given us the opportunity to appear in our local newspaper, which increases our public recognition.

Awards

The winning teams in the business plan competition "Ideenreich" will be honored at festive award events. These events bring together the best young entrepreneurs and startup experts from the region. Those interested in startups are also invited to attend the award ceremony and get to know the top teams and their ideas in person.

Winners 2025

1st place: Athegus

 

Athegus from Deggendorf Institute of Technology has developed hospOS, the first manufacturer-independent, modular robot management system to relieve the burden on staff and improve healthcare, which aims to solve the problem of the shortage of skilled labour in the healthcare sector and thus strengthen healthcare provision in the long term.

2nd place: Loka AI

 

Loka AI from Kirchberg im Wald, from the University of Regensburg, enables recruitment consultancies to search their internal candidate pool efficiently and in compliance with high data protection requirements with the help of local AI models.

3rd place: Stellaris

 

Stellaris from ITC1 Deggendorf offers exclusive space experiences with a platform and Space Explorers Club and provides access for everyone with entry-level offers as well as smart UI and community.

Frequently Asked Questions

Based on your postal code, you will be assigned to the Business Plan Competition Swabia or Ideenreich, the Munich Business Plan Competition or the Business Plan Competition Northern Bavaria when you register your team.

The competition is a platform on which you can test your concepts and improve them through feedback. So: yes, please submit your concept even if it is not perfect, yet.

You upload your concept in our protected web portal after a successful registration at www.baystartup.de. All our judges have signed an NDA and are bound to secrecy.

If we at BayStartUP communicate your solution externally (e.g. if we present your team as a winning team as part of our marketing activities), then only with content that you have approved in advance.

Feedback from experts, the chance to be included in the free BayStartUP financial coaching, media attention, prize money, support from the twelve digital incubators throughout Bavaria and our other partners in the network, information and updates from the Bavarian startup scene.

The page numbers of the chapters are guidelines, but they should by no means be exceeded. In terms of content, you should make sure that you address the main topics of the respective competition phase.
