BayStartUP awarded prizes to the best startups in the Swabia 2021 Business Plan Competition in an online award ceremony. The award is endowed with a total of 2,250 euros.
Numbat develops and operates multi-lifecycle battery storage to provide nationwide fast charging infrastructure and storage of fluctuating renewable energy. The company will enable fast-charging infrastructure by means of multi-lifecycle battery storage nationwide and without major intervention in the electricity grid infrastructure. It stores electricity from renewable energies, reduces electricity costs and supports self-consumption optimisation in industry, trade, commerce, catering, etc. The Numbat acts as a battery storage system with an integrated fast charging station to charge electric cars with a charging capacity of 350 kW. Later, as part of the operator model, the Numbats will be integrated into a platform to create a swarm battery storage system.
credium is an AI startup that makes manual, real estate-related business processes much more efficient and faster by providing digital, area-wide real estate data that has been verified for accuracy. credium provides a variety of real estate properties such as building geometry or living space for individual buildings based only on an address. For this purpose, 3D building models, satellite and orthophotos, map services and socio-economic statistics are evaluated in the background using artificial intelligence.
Dynamic Video offers a cloud-based software solution for organisations and companies to shoot professional videos with their smartphones quickly, easily and cheaply. The entire process, from conception to editing, is automated. The team thus creates an alternative to expensive video productions and time-consuming in-house productions. The special thing about this is that the specially developed cloud technology makes it possible to work together in large teams and across locations. Companies such as ProSiebenSat.1 and Sparkassen are already using Mozaik.
Startups from Bavarian Swabia and Landsberg am Lech can hone their business concepts even further in the Munich Business Plan Competition. Phase 2, which focuses on marketing and sales, runs until 16 March 2020. Altogether, innovative companies have the chance to submit their business concepts to BayStartUP's business plan competitions in three competition phases. Each competition phase has a different focus and places new demands on the teams. It is possible to enter the competition at any time.
