Dynamic and strategic business planning is of great importance for founders. Ten start-ups from the fields of mobility and transport, electrical engineering, software and medical technology have now been able to convince the jury of their business concepts in the first of three phases of the Northern Bavaria 2024 business plan competition.
These are the winning teams
arttac solutions from Nuremberg is a GDPR-compliant AI solution for EU companies that enables them to use AI technology securely and easily. The software offers high data security, simple integration and supports decision-making processes in all areas of the company.

Avalon Solutions from Aschaffenburg offers a complete package for setting up and managing charging points for electric vehicles in companies. In addition to advice and installation support, a SaaS platform enables the efficient integration of charging processes into operational workflows and ensures the availability of business-critical vehicles.

BesserEsser App from Nuremberg is an AI-supported digital diet and symptom diary that enables patients to recognise and treat individual food intolerances. After just two weeks, users know their individual symptom triggers and receive personalised recommendations for dietary changes and recipe suggestions.

excav from Erlangen enables excavation work to be carried out to the nearest centimetre without the need for levelling lasers or other complex measuring methods thanks to the GNSS-based excavator assistance system. The mobile sensor can be magnetically installed on the construction machine in just a few minutes thanks to its plug-and-play functionality. The data is communicated to the construction machine operator via an app.

Gaming Academy from Aschaffenburg is developing an all-in-one learning portal GA.GG, which gamers can use to improve their skills in the game League of Legends. An expansion for all relevant e-sports titles is planned for the future. GA Hexcore A.I. analyses players' weaknesses and suggests the right teaching content and coaches for each individual.

Globemee from Nuremberg uses an AI-supported platform to bring together German companies affected by the skills shortage with international candidates. With the help of artificial intelligence, companies and candidates can be matched precisely and the wishes and requirements of both sides can be taken into account. Global recruiting can counteract the demographic change in Germany.

inveneer from Erlangen enables the precise localisation of any smartphone and other Bluetooth devices with a new indoor location system. The technology combines unrivalled accuracy, robustness and compatibility in a single system. As a result, inveneer provides the decisive basis for many current trends, from location-based services such as navigating customers in supermarkets or smart venues to tracking employees and assets in industry and logistics.

LinaThera from Erlangen is developing a facility for the production of medical radionuclides for targeted, gentle cancer therapy. Unlike conventional sources, the company does not rely on nuclear reactors, but produces medical radioisotopes in a sustainable facility that makes an enormous contribution to healthcare and is also scalable.

NextHeat from Rednitzhembach is developing a plug-and-play solution for the industrial heating of the future. In future, the system will enable customers to produce green hydrogen locally and at a similarly low cost to natural gas, and to use it in existing industrial furnaces.

PerfectSens from Lichtenau is a sensor system that enables non-destructive, precise, non-ionising and cost-effective detection of foreign bodies in food production. The system can distinguish between different plastics, detect organic foreign bodies and record the material, direction of movement and size of the foreign body.
