Million funding for MedTech startup deepc

BayStartUP investor network arranges financing

The MedTech startup deepc has successfully completed its seed financing round in the mid-seven-digit range.

In addition to the funding from the "Initiative for Industrial Innovators", the Munich-based company was also able to convince a healthcare investor from the BayStartUP investor network of its innovative development. deepc develops software medical products for imaging diagnostics that completely restructure and improve the workflow of radiologists in the simplest way possible.

With the AI and software platform "deepcOS", which has been approved in Europe as a CE-marked medical device in Europe since March 2021, deepc enables the seamless integration of AI with a cloud-based end-to-end solution. This means that only a one-time installation is necessary, and all AI and software-based medical products from selected AI partners are directly available to radiological practices and clinics.

deepc was awarded, among others, the main prize by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) in 2020 with both the Founder's Prize and the Special Prize in the field of health, and won the Eugen Münch Prize of the Münch Foundation and the Munich Digital Innovation Award in 2019.
